2024 Bernard Defaix Chablis 1er Cru Cote de Lechet South America Several important vineyard sites formThe Defaix family's principal holding8 hectares of certified organic vines on Chablis's Left Bank, known for high toned, airy style with abundant chalky minerality. Flinty nose, tense and streamlined palate, greengage fruit finish. The 2024 shows excellent balance: ripe yet dry and mineral. This could be Chablis's excellent future in a changing climate.
